It's the @dwayne clause.
If at the time the buying club make an offer Dwayne is still doubling down on his Ally Mac is massively over rated argument then a bid of 50m will be accepted.
If however Dwayne has repented his sins and admitted that our world cup winning midfield maestro is the...
Didn't Cucurella reach agreement with Man City over personal terms?
I have no idea if he will join Liverpool. His Dad has been spotted at Anfield I believe so there's a strong likelihood that they are at the very least seriously interested but I won't be losing any sleep over him allegedly...
This is how I see it. I think he's better starting deeper with Caicedo, his range of passing and ability on the ball really help us move up the pitch. He's fine playing higher up the pitch but he has less influence on the game and we have a number of players who are as effective as him there...
Yes, I suspect you are right.
There are three things I know:
1) They'll only go for a big fee.
2) Until they go I'll hope that they stay.
3) The speculation will be endless.
I disagree(a little bit) . I think we're already at the point where the list of suitor clubs is big six and possibly Newcastle, and have been since the end of last season. No one else can afford what we'd want or offer anything that we couldn't. I really can't see many/any of our players...
I'd love him to stay but if we have to lose one player(and I'm desperately hoping it is only one...) this summer then Ally Mac is the next cab off the rank. He's put in his time, performed well and acted with class throughout his time here.
If he does go he'll get nothing but good wishes from...
I bloody love Ally Mac. He's up there with Dunkan Duffy, Bobby Z, the FDM and Garry Nelson in my list of Albion favourites. Everything about him is class.
Do you think that, thanks to all the love we've given Ally Mac and hence the media coverage and love we're getting back form Argentina, there is a small kid somewhere in Argentina whose dream is now to play for the Albion?
How nuts would that be?
Maybe I'm being naive but I really don't think we'll sell anyone of any value in January, particularly not from central midfield where with the sale of Bissouma, Mwepu's retirement and Moder's injury we're now fairly light. I expect there'll be rumours and reports daily that players a, b and c...
Maybe he did? Maybe the club said no take the two weeks? Who knows?
One thing that will be entirely predictable is as soon as he has a below par game there'll be people(I'm not suggesting you'll be one of them btw) on his back slating him.
Lovely news. I've been a fan since pretty much day one, he's a great player.
I forgot how young he is though, only 23. It feels like he's been with us a long time. That's credit to the club's recruitment and to him for adapting so well and making himself such a valuable player.
1) I love Ally Mac. I think he's great and hope he signs a new deal.
2) This thread has taken a turn for the better and has gone into a really good debate. My experience tells me that natural ability does exist as does the need to play, play, play some more and work all day every day to get...
I'd add that as well as being just 22 he's not getting a lot of game time. It's hard to have a major impact if you're in and out of the team let alone if you're only playing 20 minutes here and there.
Shame he apparently(I haven't seen the game) played poorly when he came on, I think he's...
