What? They can't punish us. If we withdraw Article 50, that's it. Not that we should, obviously. To reverse the decision without a referendum would be outrageous.

Perhaps that date should be some time after the action from the result has been acted upon. I presume you're just joking? Obviously all democratic votes are choices made at the time of asking and you don't run a democracy by ignoring all votes on the basis that they're out of date.

If these were the options the governement put to the public, that's the question you need to ask yourself. Presumably you'd choose no deal, and your second choice would be whatever you think the lest worst option is.

So if leave won, and then a fortnight later there was a vote on the terms of the Brexit, you wouldn't vote in that second election. That is weird. Where have you got the details from on the current thinking of what a second referendum would look like?

If they're too thick to understand the vote, then who cares if their vote doesn't count. All they have to do is put 1 next to what they want, and 2 next to their 2nd favourite option.
