I want to know what heart felt views he has towards the loyal support of Bronze members.
Relatively speaking, that aspect has been completely overlooked with this mooted plan.
This.
It would be appalling should mates of s/t holders jump to the front, to have the same chance of a ticket as long standing Bronze members.
Ticket release date would be a mad scramble on the internet, with those lucky enough to have sustained access to the internet and time in that moment...
Communique from the Albion’s social media director:
On the eve of the Burnley match, the Albion’s grateful board have taken El Pres out to The French Restaurant, Manchester.
He will however be able to respond to unfair criticism of the club’s hierarchy tomorrow.
Some s/t holder friends use the guest opportunity to bring a Chelsea mate to the Chelsea game, a Newcastle mate to that game, etc. Seems madness that they will get the same priority/opportunity as long term Bronze members, for a small pool of tickets.
:goal:
Making it so much harder for Bronze members to get tickets and a mass internet stampede on release day. Many bronze members are loyal fans who might be on the waiting list, or can’t make many games, or can’t afford s/t’s so pick n choose a few games a season.
This seems a blunt...
25,000 x £20, less 1/6 VAT = £417,000 extra annual income by stealth, in the guise of giving the s/t’s who are bothered an earlier chance to get additional tickets.
Our PL accounts might well show £140m of annual income, but no opportunity is lost in squeezing the pips out.
