Looking at the team sheet for the Liverpool match it would appear the LB was Cochrane - don't know much - well, actually anything - about him though. Edit: Although he is listed as a midfielder on the club's website. Were we playing three at the back against Liverpool?

As we progress - and if we are to progress - all our players, even our favourite ones, will eventually be replaced by better players. That includes Knocky; whether this is his time or not depends on our excellent management team, plus of course there is the extra factor that every player has...

If we are moving to 4-3-3 (and going to keep doing that) then the need for a back-up no.10 is greatly reduced - we pretty much have five players to cover three positions. A sixth obviously wouldn't go amiss, but I don't see that as an immediate and urgent need which needs to be settled right now.
