Looking at the team sheet for the Liverpool match it would appear the LB was Cochrane - don't know much - well, actually anything - about him though.
Edit: Although he is listed as a midfielder on the club's website. Were we playing three at the back against Liverpool?
As we progress - and if we are to progress - all our players, even our favourite ones, will eventually be replaced by better players. That includes Knocky; whether this is his time or not depends on our excellent management team, plus of course there is the extra factor that every player has...
White? Hall? Barclay? They may (I don't know for sure) aspire to be CBs rather than FBs, but I'm pretty sure they've played as FBs in our Academy teams at some point. White certainly spent some of his time at Newport at RB.
It is also a not uncommon route for young defenders to follow - start...
Would be quite happy offering Bong an extension or new contract - Bernardo may be the way ahead for now, but Bong is quite acceptable cover (if he's willing to sign, of course).
If we are moving to 4-3-3 (and going to keep doing that) then the need for a back-up no.10 is greatly reduced - we pretty much have five players to cover three positions. A sixth obviously wouldn't go amiss, but I don't see that as an immediate and urgent need which needs to be settled right now.
He was completely owned at Ashton Gate, before our team went on holiday after winning promotion.
Stupid question! Yes, I do know.
If they'd had better players, they would not have got relegated. Kane is a much better player. May not have saved them, but would have made a hell of a difference...
Abraham good for Bristol City in The Championship (though pretty ineffectual against us), pretty useless for Swansea in the PL, now good for Villa in The Championship. Hope we don't pay silly money for him now Solanke's taken.
Well, some of our quality young defenders are right backs too! I believe White spent at least some of his successful spell at Newport at RB. Still, if this lad at Luton is an upgrade.
Injured ..... tick! Sing him now!
Guess a lot of it is down to wages. Is he on silly wages (or should I say even sillier than our wages) at Liverpool - and how much does he want to play, and how much does he realise he'd still be a very rich young man, even on Brighton wages. And will his agent...
