I'll confess to being a bit concerned on that one too.
Doesn't seem fast and, despite being quite stocky, doesn't seem very strong either. Early days, but I'm happy to call him shit now, so I can claim to have been a visionary a year or so from now.
Well, yes, but the point is absolutely no one deserves to play due to the fee paid, prior record, reputation nor for any other reason.
You earn the right to play.
He got his chance when we signed him.
Like all other players in the squad, it was then up to him to show to Hughton that he couldn't be ignored, and merited a chance. There is no indication at all he has done that, as Hughton seems to have only used him when he has had no other choice available...
Chris Hughton see Locadia day in day out in training, and has done so for nearly a year now.
The fact he's not tried him in that role once, suggests he doesn't believe he is suitable for it in one way or another.
