Edna, I pause or mute the TV when the wife is trying to talk to me, because I'm one of those people that cannot handle multiple inputs at once. I can't concentrate if the TV is on. I actually very rarely watch it, but the wife has to have it on in the background. So yeah, it infuriates her...
