    [Albion] Solly March untouchable ?

He's our top assister so I'd imagine he does. He's created more chances per game than everyone bar Gross this season, so I'd imagine he does. The thing about our wingers is that they get through so much defensive work and, bar the last two games, are often gaining possession in the full back...

    [Albion] Solly March untouchable ?

I'm a fan. I think he's been good to very good for quite a few games now. But his best position has always been on the right and the last three games have shown that.

    [Albion] Solly March untouchable ?

They did. But more as a result of turnovers from corners and they just stayed in those positions. Still, it's something I'd like to see more regularly.

    [Albion] Solly March untouchable ?

I agree re competition :albion2: I do imagine that would be the case though. And I'd like to see March on the right more as I think it's a much better fit for his characteristics. But I don't see either happening any time soon.

    [Albion] Solly March untouchable ?

You need to watch football more carefully buddy. Knockaert on the left would have the same issues March has in that he'd become much more one dimensional going on the outside and closing the room off for an overlapping full back - plus, go and look at their heat maps from the weekend, where...

    [Albion] Solly March untouchable ?

Yeh that's fair enough. As I say, he was decisive and you can't knock that as that's what counts ultimately.

    [Albion] Solly March untouchable ?

I don't disagree at all. Both need to work on their crossing and end product. I have absolutely no doubt about that.

    [Albion] Solly March untouchable ?

Yeh, of course. MOTD... the font of all knowledge. How dare we disagree with the great Alan Shearer's opinion... :shootself

    [Albion] Solly March untouchable ?

Your third sentence hits the nail on the head though, doesn't it. His best performances have been on the right, cutting in yet he's barely played there over the last year. He's being asked to play essentially as a left full back at times to cover Bong's positioning down the left. It's a very...

    [Albion] Solly March untouchable ?

I've explained it elsewhere. Just because he scored, doesn't mean he played well. It just means he's decisive. It's the blessing of being a striker - you can have a below par game and still be seen as the hero by fans because you've been decisive, even in a game like this where Murray's decisive...

    [Albion] Solly March untouchable ?

And that's fair enough. I never questioned anyone else's right to an opinion - just that not everyone shares yours and the BBC reporter's either. We disagree, and that's fair enough. Simple question though... take away the goals, and are you happy with his performance?

    [Albion] Solly March untouchable ?

I don't deny the last bit. His contribution to decisive moments was the difference ultimately and I'm not debating that. And anyone that has read my previous posts would know I rate Murray very highly for what he brings to the team. But one BBC reporter's opinion doesn't make me wrong either...

    What are you struggling with?

    [Albion] Solly March untouchable ?

His all round game was very poor. The fact he was decisive with a penalty and an easy finish and he potentially dived for a penalty (all decisive moments, I must confess), shouldn’t overlook the fact that he didn’t do a lot of basics right today. He’ll play much better and not score, put it...

    [Albion] Solly March untouchable ?

I couldn’t disagree more. I thought he was one of our better players today offensively and worked very hard defensively - yes, he missed a glorious chance, but how many players missed presentable opportunities today?! However, I also thought Knockaert had one of his better Premier League games...
