I have a couple of those, and yes, very harsh. Recently however I acquired a 1977 Matchworn shirt from an ex players family, it’s the same style but the fabric is quite different, soft and stretchy in fact.

Apart from the literally tens, if not hundreds of thousands of people over the age of 14 who will be wearing their clubs shirts all over the country. :shrug:
