[Football] Raheem Sterling has an AK 47 tattoo on his thigh. Should he play for England?

You are joking right? You're also OBVIOUSLY aware that you won't even be able to see the tattoo when he's playing?

Totally agreed. Sterling has been frustrating for England. If he or Lingard have a good tournament that could make a big difference.

I think we've had them, plenty of them - Gazza, Hoddle, a young Rooney, etc. But we as a nation seem to distrust/have very little patience with such types of player, sadly. We don't seem comfortable with flair. Shame.

My point being City/Madrid etc play together all the time. They would have far greater chemistry. Fairest is to compare Champions League to World Cup. You'd never get sides anywhere near as poor as Panama in the CL. Obviously at the top end it's much of a muchness as it's the same players...

They are indeed different levels. The Champions League and top end of Prem are of a higher standard than International Football.

Again, I'm not sure about this one. Can't find it on youtube but there's a clip of Kane's face after that horrendous free kick against Iceland. He looks utterly terrified. That is not the face of someone who doesn't care - I really do think it's fear. I'm sure the rest of the squad would love...

Fully aware of how ridiculous this sentence might look in a few weeks' time but....we could really do with finishing top in the group. Finishing top means most likely avoiding Colombia, who I think could easily do us, and also then avoiding Germany, if we got that far. I would give us a 1-5%...

Fair play. I guess I'm more railing at the "our players just aren't good enough" argument, cos it's nonsense. Really not good enough to beat Iceland? Don't believe it for a second. If they were equivalent English league teams - England would win 4 or 5-0.

They're just not though, are they? This is lazy bollocks. The likes of Kane and Sterling are now players making impacts in the Champions League - a higher standard than the World Cup. I truly believe it is a mental block thing, and a fear thing. Harry Kane has NEVER played for Spurs like he did...

You know exactly why. Good news is this suggests they are really scraping the barrel this year in terms of shit slinging at the squad.
