i travelled back up to Sussex for the Brickies farewell weekend. Met many friends from the past - including plenty of Brighton fans - over the two days. Despite it being a very sad occasion we all had a blast.

I’d heard rumours that the Curlew near Bodiam had reopened and a quick search confirmed it had, albeit now it’s a restaurant.

It may well be but that’s not the same pub as the White Hart at Cripps Corner which, as I said, has shut down.

Isn’t it owned by the Del la Warrs? Back when I used to drink there it was run by one of the family, Lady Arabella.
She ran an interesting boozer in her own ‘unique’ way. :)
