I’m very happy with Villa and Massive fecking it up for yet another season. Two horrible clubs with largely entitled fanbases. Plus both tried to buy their way up and laughably it failed.
I don’t mind Leeds at all, perhaps because I remember older brothers loving them when they had brilliant players?
Over the years I must’ve missed any unseemly clashes they had with Brighton. I know everyone else here hates them.
Sky are showing all the EFL goals, with Liam Rosenoir in the studio. Sheff Utd’s winner came from a brilliant long range freekick from Norwood, which Stearman headed home.
I remember. I could’ve watched that on Sky and I wished I had. At half time the Villans cockily thought they had it in bag and that Dean Smith had turned them into the only force in the league.
I love the Albion being PL, but a little bit of me misses the non-stop EFL matches to gauge how thing's really are going on the pitch. More football, less armchair analysing and media hype.
I'm watching Derby v Leeds, a really good game.
Samuel Saiz of Leeds is a brilliant player. He starts running with the ball deep in own half, time and time again going on great runs, as Ledley, Keogh etc try hacking him down. Skipping over the fouls. Gazza-esque.
I thought their new owner was going to bring sanity. Wrong.
In a highly competitive division with a raft of clubs with huge parachute income and/or owners pumping in £10m's, Leeds too need to invest in quality players to give them a good chance of top 6.
No manager will get them up without...
