The first time I saw British Sea Power they were supporting The Fall at Concorde 2 around the late 90s/early noughties. Bloody hell, they were good. Likewise, I fell in love big time with Ladytron after seeing them support Peaches.
All 3 of the Trip-Hop Holy Trinity are stone-cold classics, all 3 were debut albums and all 3 hugely influential, far beyond their own musical genre:

Massive Attack - Blue Lines
Tricky - Maxinquaye

The Sugarcubes. 'Life's Too Good'. That album was a complete life-changer for me.
