I was born in this country to (mostly) Irish parents. Growing up, I have always considered myself to be Irish by nationality - use an Irish passport, support the football/rugby...
I'm denying nothing - I'm sure he did meet this diplomat 3 times (each in public, recorded places) and pass him a newspaper cutting. I'm sure they got on well and may have shared some political viewpoints. If the Czechs paid for that, then no wonder the Eastern bloc went bankrupt.
Left-wing politician met with diplomat from left-wing country, and gave him a NEWSPAPER CUTTING, one of those really high-level pieces of classified documentation. The current Czech authorities say there is absolutely nothing in this. Forgive me if I don't question everything I believe in over this.
