Then you (and the club) should read NSC more closely. Many of us explained in detail why we couldn't/wouldn't go to the Palace game, but are all over this one.
If the club doesn't understand the significance of Monday night v Saturday 3pm, cheaper v really cheap, TV v non-TV, 3rd round v 5th...
This is simply not true. By making it a free-for-all from the off, with a max of 4 tickets per STHs, many of us bought extra tickets for family/friends. I bought FIVE.
If it was a case of reserving usual seats, I would have bought TWO and thought nothing more about bringing others.
It's mostly a responsible response imo.
They were always going to open ESU before WSU.
I guess the club might look a bit daft/conservative if they sell 4,000 ESU tickets really quickly. (They probably won't)
Wait, wait... do we have 443 fans waiting for upper tier each willing to pay a modest £6 extra?
Then simply buy a CHILD seat in the lower tier first to fill it up. (4 tickets per fan remember - no details required)
SORTED!
I'm kinda hoping the club announces that it's definitely not opening the upper tiers.
I'd love to see the mad rush for the last few single seats, the record traffic on NSC from the "locked out" fans, the hand-wringing (again) about who are "real fans", the commemorative "I was there" T-shirts...
