Appreciate that there’s another thread talking specifically about The Flying Seagull and this thread is for TB owned horses..
But thought it worth posting the obvious double today with strong Albion connections.
The Flying Seagull 1:50 Goodwood and Seagulls Eleven 3:15 Haydock.

The rematch is less than 30 minutes away, Queen Mother Champion Chase
Energumene v Shishkin… the first race was a classic..
I’m with Tony… wonder if he’s down there or stayed in Sussex for the match tonight… good luck anyone who’s on
Just noticed that Stratum is running in the big group 1 at Longchamp today at 2:15pm
Looks a little out of his depth but there’s some each way money about now 25/1 from 33’s
Bet 365 paying 4 places
I’m with you on this one, he was a cracking bet at Ascot, running off level weights against inferior horses but the polar opposite here, running off level weights against superior horses…
Will do very well indeed to get in the first 3… looks booked for 4th (only 5 runners)
Watching brief for...
Grade 1 win for Tony over in Ireland as Energumene wins easily again... this could be Tony’s best ever this boy...
These are a very good horse and jockey combination :lolol:
That’s a really good article thanks for posting... as I said earlier in the thread, visually a very impressive performance and I thought he could be a very good horse over the next couple of years...this backs that up with some far more scientific analysis of the race and times..
Definitely one...
Won easily, went to the front and never saw another rival. Not really asked a question by the jockey... only a 6 year old and could well be a very good horse in the next couple of years...
Plenty of money down, so that’s our new striker sorted in January :albion2:
Penhill is being heavily backed, in to 7/2 second favourite now, which is some punt if he was available at 9/1 yesterday evening.. Tony must be having a play....
Edit, Tiger Roll doubled in price to 8’s.. doesn’t look like this afternoon is his race...
Good spot... now 11/8 from 9/4
Librisa Breeze clipped into 8/1 too.....
Maybe this is the January double that Tony has planned to cover the cost of our new striker..
Roughly a 20/1 double, £1m down covers the cost of a new striker... easy that...
Old favourite Librisa Breeze running tomorrow in a class 2 handicap at Lingfield 1.10pm
Currently 9/1 and worth a check in the market tomorrow, as he was a class or two better than that in his prime (which admittedly was a while back now)....
I was just highlighting that Stratum was favourite for the same race last year, I backed him then and a couple of times this season (when he lost both races when seemingly well fancied)
Hence I didn’t back him yesterday as couldn’t see him winning at all....
Congrats to all that were on...
