I am no expert in this field but I thought that was the point of Atol and companies paid towards it so that funds are pooled and then dispersed in a situation such as this? Still doesnt help the workers though

This is obviosuly a bad situation but what did you want them to do with my bolded section above? Tell people they are in trouble so no one books and cashflow stops immediately? I know nothing about this case but guess that they have been trying to sort things behind closed doors, they didnt come...
