If only we'd signed a quality striker in the transfer window, we'd have so many more options.
The lack of strikers only increases CH's natural desire to be defensive and play with the whole team behind the ball at this level
Not actually watching so not qualified to commentate on today's game but can we afford to venture upfield using our fullbacks against teams with quick wingers? Maybe the greyhound will oust Bruno and give us more attacking options? I am a massive Bruno fan but I do think he is a weak link in an...
Whatever smoke and mirrors bullshit come from the clubs PR team he is not a Premier League quality no 9 and never has been. He has just been asked to give it ago because we don't have any other options.
Jamie Murphy. AK or Solly March are not the answer either, although it hasn't stopped us...
Chelsea only had 38% possession at home yesterday and I think they have rather more quality players than we do. We are fecked before we start against the top six, damage limitation is not really such a bad idea. Not much fun for us but surely we could all see it coming?
Not having any release up front puts massive pressure on defenders. There are 5 or 6 teams that we won't be able to live with home or away not having a pacey tricky striker just makes it more difficult.
Giving the ball to a team like Arsenal anywhere on the pitch is a bad idea and professional footballers are not knackered after 30 mins.
We'll have to agree to differ but 11 men behind the ball and hoofed clearances is not the answer imo
Hoofing the ball just gives it back to them and is League 2 stuff. Trying to keep the ball is a much better tactic imo, except in the last five mins when row z should always be the option.
