I don't play career as it means playing against the CPU. Nothing quite like the thought of someone the other end of the country lobbing their controller across the room as you score a 95th minute winner.

Pretty sure all games out on the Xbox one X will also be compatible with the xbox one, just without the higher frame rate and resolution. So i THINK if you buy FIFA 18 for the xbox one, and then buy an Xbox one X, you should be able to download a patch/plain DLC to make it super 4k 60fps etc etc.

Yeah you got old. Fifa 09 was my bread and butter - played over 2000 online matches and had about 80% online win rate. I was 23 then and it's all gone down hill. Now I'm lucky if I win 30%. I've got progressively worse each year.

You'll get smashed by the kids. With each fifa I get worse, still buy them though. Football innit.
