Not a vintage Glastonbury for me.
Nothing stood out as a truly "wow" moment that will mark the 2017 festival down as anything special. Probably no bad thing that it takes a break next year and hopefully will come back with some great performances in 2019.
I think the background graphics have detracted from a lot of the acts this year. Just because the technology exists doesn't mean it should be used. Detracts from the music and the mood created by great stage lighting.
This set has all the makings of being an "I was there" moment.
Unfortunately, not for the right reasons.
Having said that. I'll reckon they'll wrap up by smashing 'Creep' and 'Karma Police' out of Somerset and into the next county and they'll ride off into the dawn with all forgiven and it...
Really struggling to get into this Radiohead set tonight, inspite of really wanting to. It seems like much of the crowd feel the same.
Waiting for it to suddenly ignite but seems like there is very little connection or chemistry between the band and their audience tonight.
