Only if they renege on this pledge, contained in the PDF: "STHs will always receive top priority"

Very hard indeed to disagree with your assessment. One season missed out of the last 15 or so? Yep, that's loyalty.

Bugger me, but don't they just. I've resorted to saying "should have gone to more away games, shouldn't you?". I think I might get blackballed.

Nah, not buying that. They specifically included this alternative sentence to cover away games (as distinct from home games): "Points awarded will vary depending on the opposition, date and demand level for the match between 5, 10 and 15.". No-one forgets something and then types a whole new...

Here? "Home League Matches: A Grade: 5 B Grade: 10 C Grade: 15 Away League Matches: 5/10/15* Home & Away Cup Matches: 5/10/15* *Points awarded will vary depending on the opposition, date and demand level for the match between 5, 10 and 15. " Only for Home league games; not away games. I agree...

Oh, I don't think there's a breach of contract here at all... I'm just offering a different perspective to those who say "serves the rich *******s right", s'all.

Look at the on sale dates for Leicester. STH on sale date = 18 July (using your STHP), Bronze members = 27 July (using Members points). If you are a STH you get to buy earlier than Bronze members. Therefore your Members points are irrelevant. Of course, they may (well) introduce tiered...

This bit? "Additional points are then awarded as follows: Away League Matches: 5/10/15* Home & Away Cup Matches: 5/10/15* *Points awarded will vary depending on the opposition, date and demand level for the match between 5, 10 and 15. " If so, I repeat: where does it say that A games will...

Maybe so. For me, I've always enjoyed the comfort at the AMEX and the [more] "proper" football experience at away games. I know 10-15 1901ers who do the same, but only 10-15. I suspect many more would pay for hospitality away, and they'll be able to do so. There are some however, I know cos...

Again - I think you're inferring something that isn't there. Where does it say that A games will get 5 points? How do you know that 5 points won't be given to C games, and 15 to A? I suspect your view is correct, but I can't see anything in the text that confirms it.

Hmmm. So it's ok to remove something because you haven't used it so far, but might now? Bit tricksy, isn't it? You're quite correct, the club could last season have said, "if you don't use it, we'll take it away". They didn't. They could now have said "You haven't used it, we're taking it...

For all games, if you have a ST, it's those points. If you a Bronze member, they use the Members points. If you are neither, it's general sale.

New Website and Loyalty Points (Club announcement, see post #158)

Where have you seen this? I can see that they are awarding 5/10/15 points for away games, but the only thing I can see about which games attract which points is "*Points awarded will vary depending on the opposition, date and demand level for the match between 5, 10 and 15.", which leaves open...

Higher than 244 offered, you mean? Hmmm. I remember seeing the 244 number, and haven't seen another announcement; but it's possible there has been, and I've missed it.

Another way of looking at it is that the club have said for six seasons "One of the advantages of paying a load more money to us is that we'll give you an advantage in getting away tickets". Now, when for pretty much the first time that many 1901ers may want to cash that promise in, the club...

That could be a while. 5k+ on waiting list, only 244 of those were offered ST this time around. Will be a higher number if we get relegated, I guess..., but perhaps not that much, since we had the vast majority of 17/18 STH in 16/17 in the Championship.

It will be interesting to see which games get the higher points - the glory games or the also-rans. If they're trying to even things out a bit, your analysis is correct, imo.

I'm going to stop being devil's advocate in a minute, particularly as I'm ok with the new scheme, but... ...one of the benefits was a 100 LP starting advantage. That's been removed unilaterally by the club... ...and, what about the 5-year commitment for a 1901 ticket vs a single season by...
