Equally you could argue that Jay-z is a bit of a tw@t, and that many in the business would regard him as such, and not cool at all. By comparison Jurassic 5 or Chuck D are the epitome of cool. And I say that as someone who owns a few Jay-z albums.

BS will never be considered cool, and I've never listened to him, but I devoured his recent autobiography, a fascinating insight into an amazing musical craftsman with unparalleled drive and passion. As I say, the music not my thing, but respect to the man for what he has achieved.
