    General Election 2017

I'm assuming that by your standards I'd be included in that definition.

It's a view but as a card carrying Labour member as well as being a member of UNITE and Momentum I'm none of those things. I love the UK, loath terrorism and am all in favour of democracy. I think you are making massive generalisations about people and that's never wise or helpful.

I take it you haven't seen any of the Tory press in recent days. Pretty hate filled by anyones standards.

I prefer to think of it as Ashamed Tory-ness.

Anyone offering odds on May resigning after the election citing ill health or similar?

    General Election 2017

This echos my feeling. May called an election, made it all about her, increase her mandate, make her stronger, etc. etc. The reality is that a vote for May now is probably not a vote for May. General Election 2017

Possibly but May is dead in the water now. She'll never recover from this shambles and as soon as the election is over her own party will be circling like sharks.

Have you met Jackie Walker? I have. She is absolutely nothing like the woman portrayed in the media. And I guessing that as I've met her and you haven't, I'd have more claim to the word FACT.

You rather missed the point of my suggestion that, if you're really interested, you do your own research. If all you want is for your prejudices to be confirmed then, by all means, rely on the misrepresentation of others.

I too have been to a few Momentum events including their excellent one in Liverpool last year and agree with John. I think if you actually did your own reasearch you'd find them, despite their politics, to be positive, enthusiastic and concerncerned. I found them really refreshing in the dull...
