I like that it is quite funny but just to put the record straight I have never heard of him unrtil seeing his name and record on transfermarket. At least unlike last season we havent perserveered with square pegs in round holes.
So all the more reason to have an experienced back up. I think that we learned our lesson last season with the left back situation and cannot afford to be caught out again..
The good thing about all of this is that it appears the club are being pro active and looking at the possible situation as opposed to last season with the left back situation so all praise to them.
Think I read that left back is his secondary position so would probably be a left sided CB as per Uwe and allow Dunk if playing to move to cover Duffy. as the rifght CB.
No reflection really as both Goldson illness and Duffy injury could not have been envisaged. Obviously the U23s are not ready yet to be thrown in the deep end.
It was based on his stats and the fact that Molde offered him another contract which he refused plus played at every level for Norway including 33 full caps.
Judged on his stats and being only 29 and played at all levels for Norway including 33 1st XI. Plus offered another contract by Molde which he refused.
.
If BFG gets injured and Dunk misses 3 games through suspension we would be in the s..t and all our hopes go out of the window. So if not expensive a contract to the end of season could suit both parties.. Why did Southampton pay £4m they must have seen something in him. Not saying he is the...
That is what we need an experienced back up to Uwe & possibly Dunk. According to tge report he turned diwn another contract with Molde rather than they let him go, so may be ok and be able to do the job. Who knows but got to be worth considering.
