That is based on the average layman. Not a super fit athlete. When I fractured 3 metatarsals 12 years ago (and was a very fit 400m hurdler) I was back training and competing in two months, and that was without the medical team and expertise that The Albion have.
1st & 5th Met's are the worst to fracture as they are the main one's used for stability. Had it been 2nd, 3rd or 4th it would not have been so bad and the lay off might even had been less. :(
