I'm in the middle tier and it looked like Uwe covered Goldson a number of times in first half, plus his distribution was a lot better.

It is not a myth, if you dangle a leg it is easier to break than a full bloodied tackle where the muscle is tensed for impact.

You would never make reference to not getting injured or saving yourself as that is the precise time when injuries happen. Sorry if you think otherwise but I would be staggered if Chris Hughton said anything relating to it, psychologically you do not bring in negativity.

Half hearted challenges cause injuries, and psychologically it wouldn't and shouldn't be even mentioned.
Eventually he should based on last season alone, but last night he struggled. Needs to get match fit.
He was strapped up a bit and it didn't look like the 'new style' tape to prevent tears etc......
Goldson was awful, Uwe covered for him 2 perhaps 3 times in first half, but yes, these players should be pushing for the first team.
Last night they looked a long way off.
