Dale Stephens . . . either play him, or sell him..

Clearly not, as he was not available at all. And I was only referring to events in last January's transfer window, as was clear from my post. Ffs.

No, I just don't regard him as a 'young prospect'. FWIW though, I was rather underwhelmed by his signing. Maybe I'll be proved wrong.

Dale Stephens . . . either play him, or sell him..

I regard a 'young prospect' as an 18, 19 or 20 year old (i.e. Ben White, Ben Hall, Tom Dallison). Still being a 'young prospect' at 24 doesn't look so good.........I'd expect the real deal by then, if a player's going to make it.

Dale Stephens . . . either play him, or sell him..

I think most of us would agree with that statement. Difficult to see how you can blame the board when the reason that striker didn't come was because his club refused to allow it.

Dale Stephens . . . either play him, or sell him..

I thought it was because we needed four players - Kayal, Stephens, Sidwell and Norwood - to cover the two midfield positions. (Towell having famously disappeared in the Lancing Triangle, of course).

He was used as a substitute. Seems an OK way of rehabilitating him in the team. I've got him down as a 'must start' for Tuesday though.
