Yup, quite common for Newport in their rise through non league. I used to watch Maidenhead Utd a fair bit and there were only two segregated matches I saw. One was Newport when they brought around 500 fans in a crowd of 800 and they had to be banned from the bar as there were too many of them...

The exception is FA Cup games where no alcohol can be drunk within sight of the pitch. AFC Sudbury have to draw the curtain in the bar of their gleaming new clubhouse when at home in the cup.
