    OK, the explanation (rather than suggestion) was fine then. It does look a bit like a bit of rusty metal too. But as you say, there is no optical illusion, so a bit emperor's new clothes really.

    My first thought was that it was a bit of rusty metal sticking out. But the suggestion that it was a cigar (well, more a cheroot, I think - don't cigars bulge a bit in the middle?) was fine too - it could be ash on the end, rather than just an unusual bit of decay and discolouration.

    Thanks for trying, but that's no spoiler at all. I'm one of the 36% of people who've checked that link that can't see anything except a wall. So can you tell us in plain English what it is that we're supposed to see? Or maybe the joke is that it is just a wall?
