To view Cubs Parade on local Chicago telly.
FYI, the construction area near Wrigley Field is a new hotel going in next to the baseball park.
Correction to above. Staging for the Cubs starts at 10:00 a.m. CDT (15:00 GMT) with the Cubs players unloading from a bus onto parade "floats" and then the parade officially starts at 11:00 a.m. (16:00 GMT) and ends in Grant Park. There a stage is set for speeches and other forms of entertainment.

Bring on the Giants. Three of us will be at Wrigley Field on Saturday. It's the bleachers section in the outfield (oppo the home base) but we will be there.

(Currently in Oregon and loving the Pacific coast. Blimey! that water in the northwest ocean is cold)
Yes, the Brooklyn Cyclones are an affiliate of the Mets. They are in the New York-Penn League. I'd also point out that there will be many NY area fans cheering for the Israeli team in the World Baseball Classic. Sandy Koufax, a very successful pitcher with the Brooklyn Dodgers/Los Angeles...
Giants win. Cardinals win. Mets lose. The NL wild card race is now completely even between three teams. Each of the contenders, Giants, Cardinals and Mets, have a record of 80-71. Two of the teams will play in the NL wild card playoff match. Which of the three teams will be edged out? Very...
