Last time we left loads of people behind on EC station as the train was full and standing, and barely anyone was able to join the train along the way. Maybe it won't be so busy on this route this time round, now that Southern have made it...

I'd be more concerned about trying to shoehorn everyone with "Southern trains only" tickets onto the one train an hour that runs direct from East Croydon to MK. That was chaos the last time I went to MK by train and we couldn't have had more than 3K there that day.
