I took my preteen kids to see it.
We don't go to the cinema that often hence caveating my glowing review.
But nevertheless I thought it was excellent and totally agree about the acting, I just found myself so involved with the story time wasn't an issue for me or the kids, who were also raving...
I'm sure you cinemaphiles would have seen better, but Queen of Katwe goes right to the very top of my, albeit limited, list of best films 2016.
It would also rate high in my all time list, too.
Who would have thought chess could be so exciting.
Finding Dory - The kids enjoyed it but the cinema was really hot, one thing lead to another and I had a long blink.
That said I did find an octopus driving a truck while being guided by a fish with short term memory loss a little far fetched and rather lacking in credibility.

Sorry I'm a bit late to the party on this one, but for £2.50 each, today, it would have been silly to miss:-
The Jungle Book -
Absolutely spectacular.
I thought it was brilliantly done, all boxes ticked and yet still managed to bring a story so traditional bang up to date.
The voices were...
Zootropolis
We saw this today.
I thought it was excellent the attention to size and scale was very enjoyable.
I knew the sloths were a highlight, and yet I still wasn't prepared for how funny their scenes were.
A great family film and a solid 8/10.
