Russia might (probably was) a corrupt decision, but then which wasn't? We've seen news reports saying that the 2010 (S. Africa) and 2006 (Germany) world cups were both bought by bribes. At least Russia could have legitimately won the bid without a bribe, Qatar on the other hand wouldn't have won...
