The Crystal Palace rumour has been reported in a South American football journal. Too busy to source, but I read it last night. However, I can confirm the Palace rumour does come from South America (It mentioned about the rivalry too). But it is just that though.

Can't help thinking £7m is one hell of a gamble on a player who isn't guaranteed to settle. That is assuming we would be willing to pay that much. I think West Ham paid £12m for Valencia, mind.
