Well, quite. :lolol: Although I must admit, there is a TEENY WEENY part of me that suspects that he didn't manage 600 staff and a budget of £1bn. And it seems that one of the interviewers had that same suspicion when he announced 600 people "danced to his tune" but he got moved out of that...

:lolol: No. But it's probably a marginally better call than chucking £250k into the shìttest dating app idea you've ever heard, not to mention the three other business plans that were all HILARIO. Except of course the hairdressing one, which isn't much different from this idea really. I...

It doesn't really matter what the business is. I think you'll find it is the punchable personalities of the contestants, the fckwittery and all round incompetence on display and the smugness of the advisors that makes the show watchable, not the businesses.

It's been done before - Pimlico plumbers are all over London and parts of the South East. I think with a shortage of skilled plumbers, he could be onto something.

That's right, I really believe they don't. Well they might ask "does your business plan involve illegal narcotics or porn?" but I reckon that is the extent of the vetting process, and it's probably conducted by TV researchers rather than Sugar and his captain of industry business chums.

Correct, and I don't have a problem with that. It's just the lack of integrity I find annoying. Continuing your analogy, it's like taking "It's a Knockout" for what it is, but then finding at the end of the show that one of the teams was had lead put inside all it's silly costumes, and thus...

Exactly how I saw it. It's high time The Apprentice actually vetted business plans before the series actually starts. The only one I can see being successful is the plumbing one. The fact that the dating app is the clear second best alternative says it all, and that has absolutely no chance...

Sugar has stitched up Richard here. Sounds like he wants him gone. Brett would never have brought Richard in until Sugar interfered.

I think your forgetting the party bags fiasco. As I understood it, a price had been agreed for a list of party bag items before that soppy tosser started crying about it, and replacing some of the tat - with different tat. The net result was that the client got away with not having to take...

Agree with Billy about Selina. Her constant sneering at competent-but-abrasive Brett is only going to end one way and I want to be watching when it happens. Especially the Jack Dee show afterwards. Hopefully she'll CRY at some point.

Yes I can only assume Sam's business plan is absolute genius. Same goes for that gimp David. Selina is surely a "dead man walking" and will go soon. I reckon Brett will beat Gary who, in my opinion, has barely featured in a positive or negative light so far. And don't rule out Vana - she's...

Maybe Sugar knows an irritating bell-end who he promised to get some painting done for? Edit: I just read that since arriving in the UK as an Albanian refugee, he has been the main bread-winner for a family of seven since he was 18, and still has the desire to be a success. I guess that's...

Well he certainly cost them money through being slap dash, but compared to April and one or two others, he was a genuine asset. The women should have been the ones cutting-in on the paint jobs - it's hardly a secret that women are more dextrous than men, in the same way that men are physically...

Yes, and if I was Elle's current employer (never mind Alan Sugar), I think I'd be watching her very closely as she's clearly an incompetent idiot with zero skills. I would have felt a bit sorry for that Albanian refugee bloke if he didn't bang on about his background at every opportunity. I...
