I think you're right. He is more suited to a 4-5-1. He was the sort of player that Poyet and Gracia loved, but I don't know where he would fit in with Hughton's starting 11. There is no doubt that he's a skilful player with plenty of ability, and one that would be a great addition to the squad...
I wasn't saying they were the same type of player! But they do both play in midfield, and although Kayal has better defensive qualities, he is still a creative playmaker type player, like Teix. So he would be the obvious player to swap out of the current team with us playing a more 4-4-2...

The guy had plenty of skill, but others are right, he was too easily knocked off the ball, and could drift out of games if he didn't get enough action. But when he was good he was very good, and he has the ability to open up defences. But I think he would only come in as a back up for Kayal.
