Brighton and madly named kids is not a new phenomenon. I could go on (warming to the theme, bloody hell when I think about it there were loads) but it's too small a place.
If there is an American Dream, then surely there is a Brighton Dream, and it's pretty much that story.
With the Richmond as some sort of mad sweaty Ellis Island.
Brightons celeb list really needs a shot in the arm (not in the traditional Brighton sense). We need some proper big hitters, jay z or kardashians. It's so boring bloody Lou Beale etc.
In fact Bruce Jenner would be ideal. Time for Brighton to properly move into the big league.
It does have a community identity. It's just that community is below the radar, as it's not visible to the press or even dfl's. You meet any Brightonians of a similR age who went to school there and you can bet your bottom dollar within a minute or so you have found mutual acquaintances...
