[Cricket] Second Ashes Test - England vs Australia - Lords

I think Lythe, Ballance and Bell are all worthy of the chop but 3 changes may really mess things up. I reckon its Ballance for Bairstow and Bell given the chance to choose his exit. Lythe will go soonish too if he cocks up again.

You might expect us to be bowled out for 103 facing Lillie and Thompson but this lot ? In 1975 the standard Aussie fielding positions were 4 Slips, 2 Gullies, a Short leg, Fine Leg and Mid off or Cover. If we put the 2015 team back to 1975, this lot would not have made 50.

This is comedy gold, how England can chuck their wickets away on what is still a very good pitch is quite remarkable. I fully expect someone to walk into their wicket next. Absolute shambles and this, a week after looking like we could compete.

You are probably right because we will probably fall apart as usual. However, Smith batted for 500 Minutes for his double ton and Cook managed 350 minutes, 2 or 3 good partnerships and it can be done. No wafting outside off stump and get everything in line for the fast balls which are on the...

Not necessarily, I really think we could hang on and get the draw here. There are no demons in the pitch and if the top order dig in it is entirely possible to bat for a day and a half on this track. The Convicts have rattled up over a 100 at 4 an over against a nice shiny cherry. Second time...
