It's hard to describe what a massive impact the first Doors album and especially Light My Fire had, it was just so different at the time. Shame it's been so overplayed and covered that I find it hard to listen to these days.

Listening to them at the moment, love their edgy music and still think it sounds good. My favourite today is Spanish Caravan or the Unknown Soldier, can't decide. Do younger Nsc'ers see the Doors as one of the great bands of the hippy era or has time and taste moved on?
