It would indeed be nice but I'll eat my hat if it happens. Clearly our esteemed management don't think we need to add to our striking options and they, of course, know best.
We have a piss poor record at signing decent strikers, particularly in the January transfer window, and I don't see things changing this time round. If we're not prepared to buy the necessary quality of player to compete in the Premier League maybe we should just accept the we are a Championship...
Agreed but perhaps they're trying to keep the wage bill as low as possible; and signing players at the eleventh hour will help with this. We have a financially prudent club - just not a particularly entertaining one .... at the moment anyway.
No doubt the club have everything under control. A few last minute signings should help to ease the nerves although any new players won't have much if any time to bed-in. Tis the Brighton way of doing things I'm afraid. No choice but to put up with it at the end of the day.
Can we just get on with signing some decent Premier League quality players please? We haven't got a hope of surviving next season without several additions.
That's disappointing as Ulloa is likely to be unfit for a while (having not playing in the PL this season) and Locadia is still injured - so for a few games at least our team will remain as poor as it has been of late. Hardly what we need with a crucial four game run coming up.
Anyone who seriously thinks that we don't need a good quality striker in this transfer window needs their head tested - in the nicest possible way of course.
The sooner we get someone in the better. :amex:
