Lundstram would be an excellent signing, very good player and exactly the type I think we need in centre midfield. The other speculative player who I think would be ideal for us in that position is Will Hughes but I've seen no rumours of him leaving Watford yet.

Maupay - yes; Murray - definitely not anymore; Connolly - not yet. We’re light with just 3 strikers as it is, let alone with 2 of them not really up to it. It’s very risky and I think a massive mistake not to get someone else in.

Whilst I fully appreciate it’s not my money to spend, I’ve got to say I think this is spectacularly naive and complacent by the club. We are effectively are left with 1 striker currently capable of playing at Premier League level.
