    It's superb. If you can get through the slow, ponderous first episode (which, to be fair, primes you for the rest of the series) then it's a 100% joy.

    Due to the absence of anything vaguely decent on tele last night I watched the second episode. I found it much better than the first an will keep watching. Glad I gave it a second chance.

    Thank god it was not justice my wife and I who found it to be dull drivel. I normally enjoy historical drama, but the first episode sent me to sleep.
