Please explain what is "known incontrovertibly" as opposed to what is surmised by Paddy McCarthy? For example, the documented admission of the named driver, I seem to have missed that. At the end of the day, everyone is going with their best guess until actual evidence comes out.

I think that the reason why this has been unresolved for so long is because no-one knows for sure what really happened, and those closest to the events have formed an idea of what most likely happened, and this is the story that has been doing the rounds.

I don't think that it is an established fact that the coach driver did the deed. It seems to be conjecture on the part of Paddy McCarthy.
