I wish I could! It's only a 2-bed, and the lady pays 50% more in monthly rent for it, than we pay in mortgage payments on our house.

We've been here 12 years. The tree was there, but much, much smaller. After severnside gull comments above, I went and had another look this morning, and he's right - I have overestimated the height. It's more like 60 feet.
(You don't need to tell me anything about Catt - he's my parents' next...
It's a 70 or 80 feet high silver birch, and growing about 10 feet from our brick garage (30 feet from the back of the house). I chopped out, and dug up some shallow roots for it that were growing right across our lawn a couple of years ago, but it didn't seem to notice.
Watching it shaking...
