Took myself off to see Spectre. Bond innit. Was good.

Mainstream cinema has been poor this year. Nobody wants to go up against Mad Max, Spectre or SW7. The big films that have tried have not been very good. JW and Terminator were both dire.

Watched Frank, the film VERY loosely based on the career of Frank Sidebottom. All that is similar to his actual life is the papier mache head. I thought it was very good indeed and a great performance from Fassbender. Maggie Gyllenhall does her stock in trade loony bird role perfectly. Yeah...

Bingo. Your stock response " I can't take you seriously if you don't like this" I think it is a bad film. If you can't accept that perhaps you need to get a thicker skin and stop being such a big baby.

It's hardly surprising you loved it unconditionally. It's exactly the sort of film you like. I like a good no brainer film but this is bad. You'd come across as much less of a wally if you didn't have a pop at people for not liking the same things you do. Great that you like things, great that...

Jurassic Park is one of my favourite whizz bangers. Jurassic World is one of the worst films I've seen in ages, and I've had to sit through The Twilight Saga with my niece. Even the excellent Chris Pratt couldn't save this lazy rehash. Awful. Avoid.

Oh, I think we have different experiences of MB's reviews. I've always found them largely positive. Oh well.

I have to disagree there. I've seen a handful of films purely on the positive recommendation of MB's reviews.

None of the pick up shot stuff will be credited. That's the way it goes unfortunately.

You will. It's a seriously good film if you like non stop action. The stunts are amazing and it just looks great cos it's all practical stuff, very little cgi. Charlize Theron is the star but Hardy is good as Max. Disengage brain and get to a cinema.

Mad Max Fury Road. Utter non stop insane bonkers and GENIUS. And those that know me , I made the cut, keep an eye out for Nibs.
