Me neither. The possibility of an inconsistent player/game/season is something that doesn't surprise me. Plus I dislike confrontation. I only feel anger at injustice in football, not general ineptitude or bad luck - that just makes me sigh. I embrace our lack of predictability.
I think this whole thread is already a debate on existentialism - we are all coming to terms with having created (to some extent) an artifical persona, possibly in order to fit in socially, possibly to achieve the opposite. Could this change how we act in real life, or who we would like to be...
In NSC, as in real life, I take snubs with a minimum of fuss, but with a lingering sense of self-blame and resignation. However, I now have your PM so I can hold my head high and regain my self-respect. I'm possibly overstating this.
