Would be a bit short-sighted to have the Ptarmigan as our national bird. If the Scots vote "yes" then they'll tKe pretty much all the ptarmigans withe them, and we'll have to start again.... I loathe gulls btw. The youngster on the roof opposite is driving me nuts - never shuts up.
