Quite. I was surprised to read the Tories got between 15-20% of the Scottish vote in 2010, but only got 1 MP.

I suspect their demands will likely be passing of more & more power to Scotland, so that a referendum is not needed. And of course Alex Salmond as Deputy PM.

I can see the Lib Dems losing many of their MPs this time round, they may not have much left to form a coalition. Even Nick Clegg's constituency in Sheffield is alleged to be very close.

I dislike Alex Salmond. He has put himself up for election again, and has a desire to form a coalition with Labour with SNP holding key posts in the cabinet - he wants to be deputy PM! I thought there was no chance of this happening, but it now seems a real likely scenario if SNP can hold off...

I'm not so sure, he is incredibly disliked by the locals there. He didn't get off to a good start when they had to drag him out of the bar for the result in 2010.
