If you, your extended family, or anyone you care about relies on publicly funded services, then you voted against your own self interests. That's why I always hesitate to call Tories selfish until I truly know if they are part of the wealthy elite in this country
Depends, if you believe in the NHS you are more dumb than selfish. First thing the Telegraph did in the wake of the victory yesterday was publish a big article calling for the privitisation of the NHS and the introduction of an American style insurance system.
If the broadcaster poll is right - it's Cameron propped up by Irish homophobes
If the other exit poll is right - it's another general election in a few months
That % includes their well deserved meltdown in Scotland.
I always thought the boundary seat arithmetic favoured Labour in terms of close %s but Ive seen some learned pieces in the last few days that say otherwise

CON—36% (+1)
LAB—35% (+5)
UKIP—11% (+1)
LDEM—8%
GRN—5%
If there has been a last day surge for anyone, it ain't the Tories
I can only record my feelings as a Labour supporter 5 years ago. We all knew we were screwed back then and we were astonished that Cameron blew it on an overall majority, it really showed the depths of distrust in the Tories that they could only get back with Clegg ratting on his own voters and...

Yeh OK - my bad :)
A Labour minority government with the SNP not being dumb enough to bring it down. Interesting times ahead for our great country, I'm feeling all patriotic again ;)
Just like to remind people the last few polls of the 2010 election showed a 6-9 per cent lead for the Tories. Boris will be leader of the Conservative Party within the month
Cold hearted marxist barsteward though I am, I'm beginning to feel sorry for this bint :)
