You not "avin it" alters the fact not a jot. Just yesterday I saw a group ranging from about 6 yrs to about 14 all playing on a raft on the river. No adult that I saw.
I see plenty of 8 year olds out and about with groups their own age. You lot seem to think that all kids do is sit in on the computer. It's just not true. Stop being grumpy old men.
Well, there is some truth in that but again round my way there are loads of old abandoned boat houses and cricket pavillions I see kids playing in. I sound like I spend a lot of time following kids around. Because I do.
Most kids still do a lot of this stuff. I think it is a lot to do with where you live. For example in Brighton you don't see that many 8-16 yr olds playing out except on Saturday's on the high street because their parents all moved out to the suburbs or Shoreham or wherever when they bought...
