I found this and thought oh hang on, they can get it bang on the line.....
And then I found these 2 efforts which would infuriate those of us with OCD and those who obsess over the back of the shirt. Terrible work by Nike
It looks like such an after thought, like someone designed the shirt and went to pack it away and suddenlt remebered!!! No problem, lets whack this terrible sticker on it
If I didn't know better I would suspect that it was a poor photoshop effort :lolol:
I live in hope. Obviously supply and demand and stock levels have completely changed but I remember and still have my Super League shirt that was released with Sandtex on a white panel, then they changed it to no panel #fingerscrossed
Fair comment, I think I'm just sulking really because in my humble opinion the shirt is gorgeous, the stripes, collar, sleeves, back amd the socks and shorts. We were so clost having it spot on but for that pesky ill fitting panel.
This, I wonder if it is just a poor transfer and when the shirt is released its a) the right colour b) the right size.
In some of the pics it looks too tight somehow, like thirt is being pulled in by it.
I spotted that pic, but do you remember how we had green or black shorts for that away kit, I'm assuming we'd need a different colour other than black when playing away to Derby etc? It was the same last season when we used yellow shorts instead of the royal blue ones.
And I guess the little blue letters would get completely lost without that obnoxious panel, shame really because I think the kit looks really nice, even the all blue back.
Thought so. Does ours look so amateur because the sponsor is simply letters as opposed to an image, and is just a basic font with no real border that also clashes with the shirt colour? Plenty of the other Nike kits look fine with their iron sponsors.
